How to Use LudiHub

Follow these simple steps to add your games to LudiHub and start organizing your gaming library.

⚡ Important: iOS Shortcuts Required

LudiHub utilizes the iOS Shortcuts functionality. In order to add a game, make sure to create a shortcut first. You can make a shortcut by opening the Shortcuts app, create a new shortcut, select "Open App", select your desired installed game, and give the shortcut a unique name.

📱 Method 1: Add from Home Screen

The game is installed and available in the App Store

  1. Long press your installed game on the Home Screen
  2. Tap on Share and select LudiHub from the Share Screen
  3. You will now get prompted to enter a shortcut name. Enter the name of the shortcut you created and tap Save

✏️ Method 2: Manual Entry

If a game cannot be added because it's no longer in the App Store or there is no internet connection

  1. Open LudiHub
  2. Open Settings and select "Add custom game"
  3. Fill in the information including the name of the shortcut you created and tap Save

🎮 Configuring the Bottom Navigation Buttons

Customize quick access buttons for your favorite apps

  1. Create an "Open App" shortcut in the Shortcuts app the same way you create one for a game
  2. Open LudiHub and long press on the button you want to configure, or use the Edit button on your controller
  3. When prompted, enter the name of the app shortcut you created

🏠 Set LudiHub as Your Home Launcher

Launch LudiHub instantly with your game controller

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Go to General → Game Controller → Controller Shortcuts
  3. Select LudiHub from the list

💡 Controller Tips

Quick press: Press your controller's home button once to open LudiHub.
While in a game: Hold the home button for 2 seconds to open LudiHub. A quick press will open the game side view instead.

💡 Advanced: URL Schemes

If you want to use URL Schemes, create a URL shortcut instead. The reason LudiHub doesn't rely on URL Schemes by default is because not every game uses them. Shortcuts provide a universal solution that works with all apps.
